 1.West Bay


West Bay is an area in Doha, Qatar that encompasses the city's east coast districts, namely, Al Qassar, Al Dafna, West Bay Lagoon and Onaiza. West Bay includes many modern buildings unlike other, older districts of Doha. Some of the tallest skyscrapers in Qatar are found in this area

Qatar’s second Souq Waqif stands in Al Wakra and is becoming a top destination for residents and tourists alike.
Souq Al Wakra, also known as Souq Waqif, Al Wakra or Heritage Village, officially opened on Al Wakra seafront in late 2014.
Following Doha, Al Wakra is the second largest city in Qatar. Located in eastern Qatar, just south of Doha, the city is believed to have a history of its own, independent from that of the capital.
In the charming, ancient city of Al Wakra is an enchanting, thriving souq that is well worth a visit for anyone interested in Qatari heritage and culture, and seeing Qatar outside of the bright lights of its capital city. Al Wakra’s own thriving market – Souq Al Wakra – is full of popular restaurants and coffee shops. The souq stretches for approximately 3 km along the town’s coast, with a corniche for people to walk along. The souq is divided into 10 zones of markets, restaurants, shops, stables, and a kids playground, as well as parking and the Souq Al Wakra Hotel.

The souq is noted for selling traditional garments, spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs. 4.Darb Al-Saai



 Darb Al Saai means the ‘Route of the Messenger’ used by the delegates whom the country’s founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani would entrust to deliver his instructions and directives. These men were known for their outstanding characteristic traits such as loyalty, obedience, courage and insight on account of which they were chosen to play such a sensitive role in those difficult times.The Organising Committee of the QND celebrations has allocated this year several parking lots for visitors, including those with special needs, divided equally among the various gates of the Darb Al Saai, while providing wheelchair services for them. To provide care services for the elderly, volunteers are available to accompany them during their visits to Darb Al Saai.
